What is The Big Easy Bike?

The Big Easy Bike is just what it sounds like—a 14-passenger, easy-to-pedal bike. And it is the “sophisticated, yet funky” way to sip and see New Orleans. It basically looks like an open-air pavilion on wheels

How many people ride on The Big Easy Bike? Does everyone pedal?

There are 5 pedaling seats on each side and 1 non-pedaling seat on each side. An additional bench in the back of The Big Easy Bike holds 3 non-pedaling seats—a total maximum capacity of 14 Crawlers. In addition to Crawlers aboard The Big Easy Bike, a Pilot, employed by Creole PubCrawl, will be riding on The Big Easy Bike.

Creole PubCrawl requires a minimum of 10 Crawlers before The Big Easy Bike departs on a Crawl. So that means there can anywhere from 10-14 Crawlers, plus a Pilot.

Who navigates The Big Easy Bike? Does Creole PubCrawl provide someone?

Yes. The Pilot, an employee, ensures that The Big Easy Bike is operated safely and maintains complete control of steering and braking. The Crawlers only pedal. The Pilot can stop the vehicle at any time and enforces all Creole PubCrawl rules and regulations.

Will Creole PubCrawl supply food or beverages?

No. Crawlers are welcome to bring food and beverages on board, if purchased from one of our Partners. The Big Easy Bike features ample storage for food and beverage including a cooler. Please read our Creole PubCrawl rules and regulations for food and beverage restrictions.

Will customers be charged a fee to ride?

Yes. Crawlers will be charged on an hourly basis. Crawlers can reserve any number of seats or the entirety of The Big Easy Bike.

What is The Big Easy Bike commonly rented for?

The Big Easy Bike can be rented for any number of occasions: Progressive dinners, seeing the different parts of New Orleans, corporate events, team-building activities, conventions, promotions, tailgating, parades, wedding transportation, family reunions, company parties, group rewards, group dates, singles mixers, fundraisers, pub crawls, picnics, or basically any other case for celebration.

What is your minimum rental time?

We require a rental of at least 2.5 hours. This includes 3-4 stops on predetermined Crawl Route.

Do you have a minimum number of Crawlers?

Yes. A minimum of 10 Crawlers must be booked on The Big Easy Bike before it begins on its Crawl Route.

What is the actual speed of the vehicle with only one operator?

While a single person can move The Big Easy Bike, it is typically moved by a group of passengers at an average speed of 5-10 miles per hour.

Will The Big Easy Bike be able to navigate around tight street corners?

Yes. And that’s a must in the Big Easy. The Big Easy Bike’s steering and maneuverability is similar to that of an average car. Our Pilots know are well-versed in navigating The Big Easy Bike.

Is Creole PubCrawl, LLC insured?

Yes, we are fully insured and each crawler will have signed a waiver before each crawl.

What are Creole PubCrawl’s rules and regulations?

All Crawlers on The Big Easy Bike are required to sign Creole PubCrawl’s Rules and Regulations, agreeing to the following:

All riders on crawls with passengers consuming alcohol must be 21 years of age or older.

All alcoholic beverages and passengers holding them, must remain on The Big Easy Bike at all times.

Glass is strictly prohibited. No glass is allowed on The Big Easy Bike.

The Pilot is responsible for the Creole PubCrawl, and his/her decisions are final.

Inappropriate behavior will result in the Pilot asking the offending Crawler(s) to immediately disembark the Creole PubCrawl without a refund.

Inappropriate behavior includes, but is not limited to the following:

Extreme intoxication

Littering

Providing alcohol to anyone outside the Crawl

Excessive noise

Public urination

Loitering more than 5 minutes after a Crawl

Any open alcoholic beverages must be dumped IMMEDIATELY when the Crawl ends. No exceptions.

Severe transgressions of the above will result in the Pilot ending the Crawl immediately and result in a fee of $400 to be charged to the offender’s credit card.

Any person arriving in an intoxicated condition shall not be allowed on The Big Easy Bike
